Celebrating over 16 years as an endorsee in the 25th anniversary year of Vater as a brand, the new Vater -
Anthony Michelli AM595 - Players Design Series stick.

It measures between a 5A and 5B,more specifically 16”(40.64cm) x 0.595”(1.51cm) and a 0.260” measurement behind the tip. Its design principal focuses on being a versatile and all-purpose stick suitable for various types of stylistic applications ensuring the maximum bounce and balance throughout. The acorn tip accentuates the full and complex tonal frequency range inherent in both drums and cymbals and its shape boasts excellent durability and a long life span.

The concept of this signature stick came to fruition over time as I found that slightly thinner sticks would eventually become less balanced as they would wear from usage, whereas the larger diameter ones often felt too weighty potentially maxing out sound thresholds in certain situations

Under the advisement of artist relations manager Chad Brandolini along with the expertise of VP Alan Vater, the stick was carefully developed over the past few years. We decided to explore the diameter of the “somewhere in between” range to come up with the .595” diameter that was new to the Vater stick lines. As a result, we developed what sounds, feels and reacts like a refined instrument in and of itself with this unique AM 595 model.

I am so very excited and happy to introduce this great new design to you with the support of VATER - a world-class stick and accessory manufacturer as second to none.
